L.A. Productions is a full service wedding coordination and event planning company based in Long Island, New York. Owner Laura Mastriano specializes in wedding planning and design for the unique bride. L.A. Productions establishes a personal relationship with each of our brides to determine design, style, planning and management needs. We offer a wide range of packages and services for all occasions, different sized events, and any budget. Our coordinators will do all of the work, allowing you to be a guest at your wedding or special event. We believe you will benefit from our personalized approach to customer service. L.A. Productions can help you with special events and occasions including anniversaries, engagements, rehearsal dinners, bar/bat mitzvahs, baby showers, birthdays, and more! Our talented team also specializes in creating custom designed invitations, programs, save-the-dates, menus, rose cones, tear packs, votive placecards, and bridal party cards, among many other items.
Laura Mastriano founded L.A. Productions in October 2002. After planning her own wedding in 1997, Laura caught the bug and wanted to allow other couples the opportunity to enjoy their special day too. This former TV reporter and TV producer has interviewed scores of politicians and celebrities including Christina Aguilera, Jon Stewart, Tyrese, Governor George Pataki, and Deborah Harry. Producing live events for air, such as the "Annual Chanukah Telethon" has helped Laura gain a keen sense and ability to multi-task, create and follow timelines, as well as keep things organized. Now Laura likes to say that instead of producing TV, she's producing your event. Laura believes "...it's the little things that mean alot..." She says, "All the small details, the personal touches can really put a face on the event, you can make your mark and leave that lasting impression that your guests will be talking about." Laura and her team of wedding and event coordinators handle every event with attention to detail. They are known for working with you & your vendors closely to make sure that your day runs smoothly and that it will be memorable. In December of 2004, Laura was named Vendor of the Year on LIWeddings.com. In an essay submitted by her brides, they explained why Laura deserved to be honored for her hard work and services. Laura is also a featured wedding consultant on the 2005 season of "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" on the Style Network.
